Carlisle County Schools names Henderson new superintendent

On Wednesday, Carlisle County Schools announced Casey Henderson as their new superintendent.

Henderson will take over for Jay Simmons, who announced his retirement in February, effective June 30.

Henderson's previous experience includes time in Carlisle County as a teacher and administrator, and time in Hickman County as an administrator and the last eight and half years as superintendent.

Henderson will assume his new position in Carlisle County on July 1.
