Republican gubernatorial candidate and Attorney General Daniel Cameron is in the midst of a final western Kentucky swing as his "Fight for Kentucky" bus tour rolled into Murray on Wednesday.

Cameron made it to Murray after earlier stops in Bowling Green and Hopkinsville, stopping at Pagliai's Pizza before attending the Murray State exhibition basketball game at Racer Arena.

This morning, Cameron joined the Greg Dunker Show and said the governors are all that stand between the Biden administration and personal freedoms.

"I hope people will recognize that on November 7th. I know a lot of folks listening want to remove Joe Biden from the White House, but before we do that, we have to remove his enabler, Andy Beshear, from the State House, this year."

Cameron went on to pledge his support for teachers and improving the education system in Kentucky.

"I fundamentally believe that having and helping and supporting our teachers will make sure our education system is world-class. I've got a plan to get that addressed. Andy Beshear has been promising things for three and a half years to our public educators. The only commonality there is that they haven't gotten any of them, because he has no relationships with the legislature to get anything done. I've already gotten my education plan blessed by the legislature, and we're going to get it done. We're going to make sure that the education system here in Kentucky is world-class."

The tour continued today with stops in Mayfield and Paducah before heading to Madisonville, Henderson, and Hardinsburg.

Early in-person, no excuse absentee voting in Kentucky is underway and continues through Saturday. The general election including all state constitutional offices takes place on Tuesday, November 7th.
