A Calvert City woman was arrested Sunday after a disturbance in Metropolis.

Metropolis Police were called to a disturbance at Speedy Mart on 12th Street.  Investigators observed 24-year-old Devonda G. LaMoreaux yelling and screaming at the clerk and refusing to pay for her coffee.

The clerk asked for LaMoreaux to be removed and LaMoreaux was informed she was tresspassing.

As she was leaving the lot, police said she started screaming at customers and cars passing by and then came back on the property. She then started screaming at the police officers and allegedly threatened to shoot them and the clerk. 

LaMoureux was charged with criminal trespass, threatening a public official, and disorderly conduct. She was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
