Report: MSU to offer contract to Patterson to become school's new president

Reports indicate Murray State University's Board of Regents have selected the school's next president.

WKMS reported the board has authorized chairman Leon Owens to negotiate a contract for Ron K. Patterson to become the school's 15th president,

Patterson is currently the president of Chadron State College in Nebraska and would replace Dr. Bob Jackson, who will retire from the presidency at the end of June.
