The body of a Marshall County man was recovered after a search in Kentucky Lake on Saturday.
Marshall County Coroner and Rescue Squad Chief Kenny Pratt told West Kentucky Star that the 57-year-old Cecil Osenbaugh was located and pulled from the water after about a two-hour search.
Pratt said witnesses told them three people camping in the Cozy Cove area had gone swimming when Osenbaugh swam away from the group. When they realized he was in some trouble, the others tried to get to him to assist. Osenbaugh went under and they could not locate him. The call for help was placed just before noon.
Osenbaugh's body was sent to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner's Office in Louisville for an autopsy.
