Body found in Mississippi River identified as Cape Girardeau woman

A body found Sunday in the Mississippi River has been positively identified.

Mississippi County Coroner Terry Parker confirmed to KFVS the body is that of 81-year-old Rose Mary Weaver of Cape Girardeau.

Parker added no foul play is suspected.

Carlisle County E911 received a call Sunday from the U.S. Coast Guard about a possible body floating in the Mississippi River.

Several western Kentucky agencies assisted in the search.
