Bid winner to be announced Wednesday for new Mayfield city hall and police station

The city of Mayfield will announce the bid winner for construction of the new city hall and police station this week.

Mayfield city project administrator Justin Carrico said the winning bid will be announced Wednesday.

The two buildings were destroyed in the 2021 tornado.  

Groundbreaking for the new buildings to be located on Broadway was held last fall with Governor Andy Beshear and US Senator Mitch McConnell in attendence.
