Benton man jailed on traffic and drug charges

A Benton man was arrested on drug and traffic charges in McCracken County.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said Cody Gentry was pulled over for a traffic stop on Forsynthia Drive off Old Mayfield Road.

During the stop Gentry was found in be possession of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. 

Gentry was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.
