A Bardwell man was arrested at his home Friday on drug-related charges.
The Carlisle County Sheriff's Office said Probation and Parole contacted them for assistance on KY 1591 while they were conducting a home visit at a residence owned by Stephen Lemons.
Lemons was currently on supervised release and his home is subject to search by probation officials at any time.
During a search, a small quantity of marijuana was found. They also observed a white powder substance on a mirror, on the kitchen table that was field tested by the sheriff's office and showed a positive identification for methamphetamine.
Lemons was arrested on possession of controlled substance and possessopn of marijuana.
Lemons was also in violation of his release due to being manifestly under the influence of alcohol, which of itself would not be a crime due to Lemons being in his home. However, conditions of Lemons release are to not to consume alcohol or drugs.
