Calvert City Ameribration moving to Friday due to weather concerns

Due to the risk of thunderstorms on July 4, city leaders in Calvert City and the Calvert Area Development Association have made the proactive decision to postpone the Ameribration event to Friday, July 5. 

The fireworks company has expressed concerns about safely setting up under these weather conditions. After extensive discussions, it was clear that prioritizing the safety of volunteers, vendors, and residents is essential.

Activities will begin Friday at 3 pm with the Calvert City Ameribration Parade at 6 pm with live music from Deja Blues from 7-9 pm with the fireworks show at dusk.
