An Almo man was arrested on Monday afternoon after Calloway County deputies tried to stop him for a license plate discrepancy.
Deputies tried to stop the vehicle driven by 31-year-old James Kendall after they discovered the plate did not match the type of vehicle it was on. As the deputies tried to pull Kendall over, he allegedly increased his speed and tossed something out the car window. The discarded item was recovered and was reportedly methamphetamine. More meth was allegedly found on Kendall's person.
Kendall was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center and charged with meth possession, driving on a DUI-suspended license, no insurance, and a host of other traffic violations.
