Almo man arrested for drug possession in someone else's front yard

A Sunday night disturbance at a home on Almo Road in Calloway County ended with one man in jail on a drug charge.

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies were called at about 10:15 p.m. to a home on Almo Road for a report of an allegedly intoxicated person in their yard. When the deputies arrived they found 30-year-old Harley Deines of Almo in front of the home. Reportedly deputies found methamphetamine in his possession.

Deines was arrested for meth possession and public intoxication and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
