I-24 back open after early morning semi/SUV crash

The McCracken County Sheriff's office reports that I-24 in McCracken County is back open after a semi crash near mile marker 10.

Westbound traffic had been blocked for several hours after a collision that occurred before 5:30 a.m. involving a semi and an SUV rollover.

Backed up traffic on the interstate resulted in at least three other accidents, some with injuries.

As traffic rerouted through Paducah, several intersections also backed up with additional semi traffic seeking to rejoin the interstate at Exits 7 and 4.

No other details of identities of the injured have been released.
