KYTN reports that 13-year-old Destiny Brewer passed away Thursday at a Memphis hospital from injuries received in the Monday evening accident.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says the accident occurred at 6:30 pm Monday when the ATV apparently failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Gaylord Extended and Adams Road in Weakley County.
The ATV collided with a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Doug Sims of Martin.
Brewer, and another 13-year-old girl on the ATV, were both airlifted to Memphis hospitals.
Sims was reportedly not injured in the crash.
