Caldwell County Sheriff's deputies arrested a pair of impaired drivers in separate incidents on Monday night.

The first incident took place on Hopkinsville Road near Dollar General. Deputies were called about a driver allegedly passed out in his vehicle. Thirty-six-year-old Michael Markham of Princeton was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Later, another deputy spotted a speeding vehicle on I-69 between Princeton and Dawson Springs. The deputy stopped 18-year-old Sydney Baker of Shepherdsville and determined that she was under the influence. A search of the vehicle reportedly uncovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Baker was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Both were taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
