The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Membership and Total Resource campaign ended with a total of 125 new members recruited.
Even though the Chamber accepts new members all year, a time is set aside every fall for the annual Membership Campaign for a more focused approach by volunteers.
“Our volunteers have really been hard at work on behalf of the Chamber during this annual campaign,” said Katie Englert, Campaign Chair and Chair-Elect of the Paducah Chamber Board of Directors and Owner of Chicken Salad Chick and Compass Counseling. “We shortened the campaign this year to three weeks so this has been a very busy time for the Chamber with our upcoming 20th anniversary trip to DC and many other events. We are very appreciative of our volunteers, our membership, and our leadership.”
Chamber President/CEO Sandra Wilson noted, “This year our volunteers were actively recruiting new members, renewing our members who joined during last year’s campaign, and securing sponsorships for some of our upcoming programs and events.”
The top volunteer producer for the campaign was Jeremiah White with Swift & Staley. The second place individual award went to Cage Newman with US Bank. Third place was Lisa Lauck with Lauck Marketing Agency. Fourth place was Ines Rivas-Hutchins with INTEC Group. Fifth place was Jessica Housman with Housman Partners.
The Swift & Staley team, with Team Captain Jessica Newman, earned the “traveling trophy” award for Overall Team Winner.
The team captained by Maegan Mansfield with Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. was the second place team.
The third place team was Housman Partners, with Jessica Housman as captain.
The Paducah Chamber of Commerce is the region’s largest, with approximately 1,000 members. It also is a two-time recipient of the prestigious Chamber of the Year award. For more information, go to paducahchamber.org.
