Murray-Calloway County Hospital welcomes  Dr. Wang

Jingkun Wang, MD, General Surgeon, recently joined Craig Dowdy, MD; Callie Dowdy, MD; Brian Swain, MD; and the team of providers at West Kentucky Surgical.

A 2013 graduate of the University of Kentucky, Wang was graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He earned his medical degree and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where he received the Resident Teaching Award. 

Wang specializes in surgical services, such as the management of hernias, gallbladder disease, small bowel disease, benign and cancer colon disease, breast cancer, hemorrhoids, port placements, and in-patient care of general surgical emergencies. 

In his spare time, he enjoys sports cars, target shooting, learning from audiobooks and podcasts, spending time with his dog Allie, and cooking.
