AGC of Western Kentucky Outstanding Tech Student

The AGC of Western Kentucky Outstanding Tech Student for the week of December 11th – December 15th is Laney Stokes. Laney is a junior Welding student at the Four Rivers Career Academy in Fulton County. She was nominated by her instructor, Will Greer for being hardworking, respectful and kind. Greer says, “Laney comes to class eager and ready to learn and master every task”. Laney is employed at Maurice’s and Chandler’s Wholesale. She is also involved in Skills USA, FFA, BETA and track. She plans on pursuing a career in underwater welding. The Associated General Contractors and member sponsors are proud to recognize students like Laney, who exemplify outstanding attitude and academic achievement in their technical programs and plan on pursuing a career in the trades.
