Prohibition in the City of Mayfield has come to an end. Voters approved packaged alcohol sales by a 388 vote margin in Tuesday's special election. There were 1,356 “Yes” votes and 968 “No” votes. Gas Prices Fall Statewide, But Jolt Upward Locally

Average retail gasoline prices in Kentucky have fallen another 3.0 cents per gallon in the past week across the state, but local prices have jolted up more than 20 cents a gallon.
