Travelers in the Cairo area are being advised of an impending closure of the US 60/62 Mississippi River Bridge for a required annual safety inspection. A Graves County man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident Friday afternoon. The Calloway County Sheriff's Department got several 911 calls about an injury accident on Kentucky Highway 121 North near Peach Orchard Road.
