A suspect wanted in an identity theft investigation has been arrested in Graves County.
The Graves County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday the investigation began February 26th when they were called to a business on US 45 to investigate a reported stabbing.
The victim reportedly lied to investigators as to his true identity. During the investigation, the suspect had identified himself as another person and had signed official documents under that name.
On Tuesday around 5:30 pm, deputies with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Sancho Hernandez Pastor of Union City. The suspect had stolen the identity of another.
During a follow-up investigation and interview he again provided the false name of Joshua Natale. Records obtained showed he used the same false identity to gain employment and possessed fraudulent identification documents.
Pastor was first taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center then transported to an out of county detention facility.
