A former athletic trainer at Massac County High School charged with sexual assault and abuse was in court Thursday.

Felicia Williams-Watson appeared before Massac County Circuit Judge Carey Gill, who appointed a public defender to represent her in the case. Gill set Williams-Watson's preliminary hearing for June 18 at 1 p.m.

Williams-Watson is charged with four counts of criminal sexual assault and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The charges stem from alleged sexual relationships with two male students at the school, ages 15 and 17.
