A 16-year-old girl from Missouri is facing charges after she reportedly fled from Trigg County deputies at up to 125 miles per hour.
Deputies were notified Saturday of a brown Mini Cooper with a female driver traveling at speeds of 100mph and passing people in the emergency lane.
A deputy entering I=24 said he saw the vehicle crossing over US 68 eastbound and got behind the vehicle, which was still reportedly passing vehicles at a high speed.
The deputy turned on emergency lights and sirens, but he said the suspect only accelerated for a few more miles before the vehicle eventually stopped.
The teen was arrested and charged with improper lane change, reckless driving, improper passing, following another vehicle too closely and fleeing and evading police.
