A man recently released after serving time for burglary was arrested again on a burglary charge Thursday near Fancy Farm.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said a possible burglary in progress was reported at a business at the Stahr Road and KY HWY 121 intersection.

The business owner reported that while reviewing surveillance camera footage from overnight, they noticed an unknown male walking around the business and eventually entering into the business from the loading dock area. However, video footage never showed the suspect exiting the business.

Sheriff Jon Hayden was the first law enforcement officer to arrive and as a search of the business began, the male suspect was found hiding in a storage area of the business where he was covering himself with items to conceal his presence.

The suspect was identified as 41-year-old Joshua K. Davis who is from the Todd and Logan County areas of western Kentucky.

Davis had been released from the Ballard County jail on September 30th after serving 3 years on a burglary conviction. He had been making his way south on Ky Hwy 121 North since being released.

Authorities said a bicycle was found behind the business that is suspected as being stolen from a location between where he was located and Wickliffe.

Davis was charged with burglary 3rd Degree.
