Lyon County crash sends two to hospital

A crash Tuesday morning in Lyon County sent two people to the hospital.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office reports they were called to the intersection of KY 93 and KY 1055.

Deputies said a vehicle driven by 68-year-old Valerie P. Travis, of Eddyville pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Paxton T. Riley of Marion.

Travis had to be extricated from the vehicle, and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment of injuries.

Riley was taken by private vehicle to an area hospital for treatment.
