Livingston County woman arrested following traffic stop

A Livingston County woman was arrested following a traffic stop Wednesday.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office said they pulled over a vehicle operated by 40-year-old Tara Ford on Dover Road after a deputy leaarned she was driving without a valid operator's license.

Ford was also suspected of operating the vehicle while under the influence of a substance causing impairment and was subsequently placed under arrest.

After being taken into custody, Ford was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine on her person.  Ford was charged with several traffic and drug related offenses and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
