A Calvert City man is facing a drug charge after a traffic stop in Livingston County.

The stop happened on Monday at about 9 p.m. along US 62 in Lake City. Livingston County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding. It was driven by 64-year-old Michael Gibson of Calvert City. According to the report, Gibson was found to have what was suspected to be methamphetamine.

Gibson was arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, along with speeding 15mph over the speed limit.
