KSP investigating former Cadiz On Main director

A letter of termination was delivered to now former Cadiz On Main director Brianna Hyde Tuesday evening.

WKDZ reported Wednesday that an investigation has been turned over to Kentucky State Police at Mayfield.

It's not known what the investigation is about and at this point no charges have been filed.  

This action comes less than two weeks before the 48th annual Trigg County Country Ham Festival-an event Hyde had some control over not only as a city employee but as the event's committee chair for the second consecutive year.

Hyde was serving in her second stint as On Main director after a short term last year before resigning this spring, citing constraints on the job.

She returned to the job six weeks after her resignation.  Cadiz mayor Todd King could not offer comment on the matter.
