Investigation underway into 9 puppies found near Kevil

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in regards to a basket of dogs and puppies abandoned near Kevil.

On Tuesday, nine puppies about five weeks old, along with the mother and father were dumped in a laundry basket.

The puppies are mixed breed and various colors.  

Anyone with information is asked to contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Office.
