WKDZ reports the Christian County Sheriff's Office was called at 11:00 am to near the 87 mile marker for the semi crash in the westbound lanes.
Their investigation found a semi driven by 51-year-old Nakia Stump of Hopkins, Missouri struck the rear of a semi driven by 39-year-old Reginald Hill of Acworth, Georgia. Stump's vehicle jackknifed, blocking both westbound lanes.
Stump was ejected from the cab of the truck, and was airlifted to a Nashville hospital for treatment of injuries.
Hill was reportedly not injured in the crash.
