Domestic disturbance leads to arrest of Metropolis woman

A domestic disturbance led to the arrest of a Metropolis woman Sunday.

Metropolis Police said they were called to a residence in the 1100 block of Butler Street.  The victim told police they had been struck in the head with a bottle and bit several times.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.  26 year old Elayshia Na Shae Boey was charged with aggravated domestic battery.  She was released on a notice to appear.
