A Calloway County pair was arrested Friday on a warrant issued by Calloway County Courts in April.
The pair, 44-year-old James A. Stevens, and 39-year-old Jamie Scott, had rented a home for less than two years, and upon vacating the property, it was allegedly found to have sustained significant damage.
Under Kentucky law, a tenant who wantonly or intentionally causes damage to residential rental property that results in losses of $500.00 or more, may be held criminally liable which can be considered a Class D felony.
Stevens and Scott were both taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
