The Kentucky Wildcats improved to 2-2 on the season Saturday with a 41-6 win over visiting Ohio at Kroger Field.
Quarterback Brock Vandagriff was 17-of-24 passing for 237 yards as the Wildcats totalled 488 offensive yards. Junior Dane Key caught seven passes for a career-high 145 yards and redshirt freshman Jamarion Wilcox led the ground game with 82 yards. As a team the Wildcats racked up 206 yards on the ground.
Senior defensive back Maxwell Hairston scored the 3rd pick-six of his career on a 25-yard interception returned for a touchdown.
The Bobcats (2-2) were held to 108 yards rushing, well below their average of 203 yards per game.
Alex Raynor set a Kentucky record for the most consecutive field goals made after a 35-yard kick was his 12th straight make.
Kentucky now looks ahead to a trip to Oxford to take on Lane Kiffin and No. 5 Ole Miss.
