Kentucky football is headed to South Carolina for its first road game of the season, as the Wildcats prepare to take on the Gamecocks following a bye week.

Both Kentucky and South Carolina are still searching for their first conference wins, as UK dropped its only SEC game so far this season to Ole Miss.

Redshirt freshman Cutter Boley gets the nod to start again at quarterback. He threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to a 48-23 win over Eastern Michigan in his first start of the season.

The Wildcats will also be counting on their ground game against South Carolina. The Wildcats' rushing offense is averaging 214 yards per game this season, ranked 28th in the nation.

Seth McGowan has been the leading rusher for Kentucky, totaling 275 yards and six touchdowns across their first three games of the season.

By contrast, the Gamecocks will depend on an air attack. They rushed for negative yards in their last loss to Missouri, and managed just 86 yards against Vanderbilt.

Kentucky's defense has allowed 278 yards per game in the air through three games.

Kickoff for Kentucky at South Carolina is set for 6:45 p.m. on the SEC Network. Catch the radio call on 94.7 The Mix.
