Tonight at Graves County High School, the boys First Region semifinals will take place. St. Mary will take on Ballard Memorial at 6 p.m., followed by Mayfield meeting Carlisle County at 7:30. The boys championship game will be held Saturday at 7:45 p.m.
The girls First Region finals will also take place at Graves County Saturday at 5:30 between Fulton County and Mayfield.
The boys and girls state tourneys will be held next week at the Owensboro Sportscenter.
The Region 1 boys champion will meet the Region 8 winner in the opening round. Game time is 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
The girls winner will head to the state tournament to face Lexington Christian Academy at 1.pm. on Wednesday.
The Crittenden County girls will represent the Second District against Martin County on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
The Lyon County boys will be the Second Region representative. They're scheduled to play the Region 15 school next Thursday at 8:30 a.m. at Brescia University in Owensboro.
