Cal Raleigh led a parade of milestone home runs across major league baseball on Thursday by hitting his 60th of the season in Colorado.

Just a few hours before, Raleight belted No. 59 in the first inning

Raleigh surpassed Mickey Mantle’s previous MLB record of 54 home runs by a switch-hitter that had stood since 1961. He also set the MLB record for homers by a catcher this season, eclipsing the 48 hit by Salvador Perez in 2021.

In Philadelphia, Kyle Schwarber also had a twofer as he padded his National League home run lead with Nos. 55 and 56 in an 11-1 Phillies win over Miami.

Aaron Judge was not to be outdone. His matching pair of homers were Nos. 50 and 51 during an 8-1 win over the White Sox.

Judge tied the major league record of hitting 50 in a season for the fourth time. The only other players with four 50-homer seasons were Babe Ruth, Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa.
