Paducah Chiefs baseball is back for their tenth summer and have a new voice.
Jeff Bidwell will be the new "Voice of the Chiefs" on 99-5 The Fan. Bidwell replaces Todd Hamilton who retired earlier this year.
After graduating from Ohio University in 1998 with a degree in broadcast journalism, Bidwell began his television career in Augusta, Georgia at WAGT from 1998-02. He then served as sports director at WPSD for twenty years until 2022. Bidwell currently serves as the radio voice of the Murray State Racers men's basketball team after taking over for Neal Bradley in 2023.
This year marks the tenth season for Paducah Chiefs baseball as they get set to once again play in Ohio Valley League. The OVL features some of the region's standout collegiate players sharpening their skills in wooden bat baseball action.
Fans are invited to join the fun at legendary Brooks Stadium beginning May 31. You can hear every game home and away with Bidwell on 99-5 The Fan, and streaming online at 995thefanpaducah.com.
