PRP throws 2-hitter, shuts out McCracken 4-0 at boys state semifinal

The McCracken County Mustangs were defeated by Pleasure Ridge Park 4-0 in the semifinal round of the boys state baseball tournament in Lexington on Friday.

The Mustangs mustered hits from Will Fox and Lane Grace in the contest.

No. 6 ranked PRP (29-6) will meet No. 1 seed Trinity (37-3) in the championship game Saturday afternoon. Trinity threw a no-hitter at Boyd County to seal the trip to the finals.

McCracken County finished 31-8 on the season with a squad that lost 15 seniors last year after their trip to the state finals.
