Meyer, Johns Win Irvin Cobb Championships

Fred Meyer followed up his 65 on Saturday with a 66 on Sunday to win the professional division at the 84th Irvin Cobb Championships at Paxton Park Golf Course.

Timothy O'Neal (68-66=134) finished three shots back. Jonathan Hodge (69-66=135) and Patrick Newcomb (66-69=135) tied for third.

Emma Talley (142), the first woman ever to play in the Irvin Cobb Championships, finished tied for 9th.

Justin Johns won the amateur division in a sudden death playoff. Johns, Avery Edwards and Christian Tooley all finished at 139.
