OVC baseball tournament begins at MTN Dew Park in Marion

The Ohio Valley Baseball conference tournament is returning to MTN Dew Park in Marion, Illinois this week through Saturday.

Eight baseball teams from the OVC will be playing in Marion beginning Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 12 p.m.

The tournament has been held at a neutral site since 2001 when it took place at Paducah's Brooks Stadium through 2009. It has since been held at Jackson, Tennessee (2010-16, 2021), Oxford, Alabama (2017-18), Marion in 2019 and last year in Lexington, Kentucky.

SEMO is the two-time defending champion, and this year seeded #4. Other teams and seeds:

8. Southern Indiana
