Madisonville-North Hopkins  23,   Graves County  20
A near upset for the Eagles turned to overtime heartbreak as Madisonville remains unbeaten and Graves still searching for it's second win of the season.

The Eagles trailed 17-3 at the half, but pitched a shutout in the second half. They scored their first touchdown on a pick 6 from Wilson Thomas to cut the lead to 17-10.  Ayden Pate then scored on a redzone run to tie the game at 17 each in the fourth quarter. 

Graves got the ball first in overtime and was forced to settle for the field goal to take their first and only lead at 20-17. However, the Maroons found the endzone on their first play in overtime to get the walk-off win.

Graves County (1-5) will travel to Apollo (2-4) this Friday.


Murray  59,   McCracken County  56
It was an offensive shootout at Marquette Stadium, with Murray remaining undefeated. 

The Mustangs scored on their opening drive to take a lead momentarily at 7-0. The Tigers would not only answer to tie the game, but comeback to take a 14-7 lead and stay ahead of the Mustangs the rest of the game. 

The Mustangs were down 59-49 with two minutes left when Jude Lanier returned a Murray kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown. 

The Tigers racked up 667 total yards and scored on 9 out of 10 possessions with 8 TDs and a field goal. Wyatt Robbins went 17-for-23 in the air with 411-yards and three touchdowns. As a team the Tigers rushed the ball 45 times for 256-yards and five touchdowns on the ground.

The Mustangs would get 307-yards in the air as Maddox O'Neal was 14-of-27 passing with 5 touchdowns.  As a team they would rack up 233-yards on the ground on 31 carries and two touchdowns. Dawson Hayden had 127 rushing yards, Landon Newman had 102.  Lanier had 350 all-purpose yards on the night.  


Murray (6-0) will travel to Webster County (1-5) on Friday. McCracken County (2-4) will travel to Hopkinsville (3-3). 


Paducah Tilghman  48   Allen County-Scottsville  7
This game was over as soon as it began. Tilghman jumped out to a 35-0 lead by the end of the first quarter.

Stone Crowe threw for 221 yards and 5 touchdowns in the first half. Cam Wade finished with 3 of the TD catches on 56 yards receiving. 
In the second half, Avery Gates took over at QB and passed for another 99 yards, including TD throws to Blair Sains and Corde' Rollins. 

Tilghman's defense was credited with three interceptions, a fumble recovery and a sack. 

Tilghman (5-1) hosts Logan County (6-0) on Friday.


Marshall County 23, Muhlenberg County 21
A close game throughout as the Marshals hung on for their third win of the season.

The game was tied 7 a piece at the end of the first quarter and then 14 each at halftime. 

The Marshals got a field goal for the lone score in the third quarter to go up 17-14. In the fourth quarter Neyland Jezik found Kam Brown to put the Marshals up 23-14 with five minutes remaining in the game, however, the Marshals held on for the district road win.

Marshall County finished with 224-yards rushing as a team with one rushing touchdown. Jezik finished 19-of-28 in the air with 188-yards passing and two touchdowns and one interception. 

The Marshals (3-3) will travel to Owensboro (4-2) on Friday.
