Girls golfers recognized by Country Club of Paducah LGA

The Country Club of Paducah Ladies Golf Association recently recognized three local high school girls golf teams and a local player who has advanced to the college ranks.

The LGA awarded a combined $1500 on Friday to the Paducah Tilghman, St. Mary and McCracken County girls’ golf teams. The money from tee sign sales at the LGA's annual Memorial Tournament will be used toward competition fees, equipment, and supplies to support each team during the school year. 

Madison Glisson, an outstanding recent high school golfer currently playing as a freshman on the Xavier University ladies’ golf team, was also recognized with an achievement award of $500. Glisson was a three-time Kentucky All A State Champion and four-year varsity letter winner at Ballard Memorial High School.
