In the deciding Game 3 of the Ohio Valley League semifinals, the Fulton Railroaders rallied in a wild game to outscore the Paducah Chiefs 14-12 in twelve innings.
Paducah led 6-0 after three innings, thanks in part to a two-run single by former McCracken County Mustang Nate Lang. But the Railroaders took the lead in the seventh.
The Chiefs came back for an 8-7 lead in the eighth, and they were one strike away from the win in the 9th before a Fulton base hit tied the game.
Both teams scored twice in the 10th and twice in the 11th. Fulton scored twice in the 12th for the final margin.
The loss ended the Chiefs' season with a final record of 22-17.
The Railroaders advance to the OVL championship series Saturday night at Full Count Rhythm.
