The Paducah Chiefs fell to the Hoptown Hoppers 7-3 on Friday night at Christian County High School.
The Chiefs took a 2-0 lead in the opening inning, but the Hoppers put the game on ice in the 4th with five runs on only three hits.
Paducah mustered only four hits in the game, and were led offensively by Javin Gauthier with 2 runs batted in. Other Chiefs in the hit column were TK Madera, Nate Lang and Gunnar Bingham.
Reese Oakley started on the mound for Paducah.
The Chiefs go to Hendersonville to face the Full Count Rhythm on Saturday, then return to Brooks Stadium to host Madisonville on Monday and Fulton on Tuesday. Games start at 6:30 and can be heard on 99.5 the Fan.
