Christian Yelich had two hits and two RBIs and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the St. Louis Cardinals 7-1 Sunday to avoid a three-game series sweep.
Jose Quintana become the first Milwaukee Brewers pitcher to win his first four starts for the team since CC Sabathia in 2008.
The 36-year-old Quintana (4-0) helped Milwaukee snap a four-game losing streak.
Quintana struck out six in five innings to pick up the victory. He allowed one run on five hits and three walks.
The only St. Louis run off Quintana came in the fifth inning when Donovan hit an RBI double.
Lars Nootbaar had two hits for the Cardinals, who stranded 11 runners.
Cardinals RHP Andre Pallante (2-1, 4.05) faces Reds RHP Nick Martinez on Monday in Cincinnati.
