Alexander Jordan BAbb

LaCenter, KY Alexander Jordan Babb, age 30, passed away at Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital surrounded by his family in Paducah, KY Monday, July 8, 2024.  He was born in Paducah, KY on January 28, 1994 to his parents, Barry and Tracy (Buckman) Babb.

Jordan graduated from Ballard Memorial High School in 2012. He owned and operated Babb's Towing Service for a short time and enjoyed it so much.  He loved riding his motorcycle and loved to collect junk.  Jordan was a big jokester with a big heart. He loved traveling for work and getting his hands dirty. He would give you the shirt off his back  without a second thought. Jordan’s pride and joy was his son Ayden Babb. He was of the Baptist faith. 

He is survived by his son, Ayden Babb of Wickliffe, KY; parents, Barry and Tracy Babb of LaCenter, KY; two sisters, Jade Babb (Cody Brown) of Kevil, KY, Jillian Thurston (Bryan) of Thebes, Illinois; grandmother, Betty Babb of Kevil, KY; two nieces, Birdie Brown and Meredith Thurston; two uncles, Chris (Bobbi) Buckman of Clarksville, TN, Brent Babb (Sheri) of Waterloo, IL; two aunts, Tina Jones of Paducah, KY and Michelle Cruse (Craig) of West Paducah, KY.

Jordan was preceded in death by grandparents, Philip Babb, David Stone, and Millie Overturff and an uncle, Kevin Jones.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 12, at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Russ Buchanan officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a savings account has been set up for his son, Ayden Babb at First Community Bank in LaCenter, KY.
