Kentucky State Police arrested more people in the investigation of a missing baby girl in Owensboro.

On Wednesday, troopers executed a search warrant at the home of the grandparents of 8-month-old Miya Rudd. Troopers did not locate the baby, but seized electronics and arrested both grandparents of baby Miya.

50-year-old Taletha Tucker of Owensboro was arrested and charged with a Fugitive from Another State warrant out of Indiana. 53-year-old David Tucker of Owensboro was arrested for a non-payment warrant issued in Daviess County.

Last week, troopers opened the missing person investigation after a search warrant and welfare check concerning Miya was conducted and the girl was not found.

Miya's parents, Tesla Tucker and Cage Rudd, were charged with child abuse and abandonment of a minor, as well as trafficking in meth, trafficking in legend drugs, trafficking in marijuana and engaging in organized crime. They were lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center. The next day, police also arrested Ricky Smith on the same charges.

Tesla Tucker’s three children, who were residing with the grandparents, were removed by the Cabinet of Community-Based Services to another location.
