Northern KY woman arrested after dismembered body of her mother found in home

A woman is facing charges in connection with her mother's body found dismembered at a home in northern Kentucky on Wednesday.

In a citation filed Thursday, Kentucky State Police said that a dismembered body and apparent cooked body parts were all found inside a Robertson County home.

Troopers said they received a call from a man who said he arrived at the home to do work for the owner of the property. 

According to the citation, the witness told KSP that when they came to the property on Tuesday, the owner's daughter, identified by police as 32-year-old Torilena May Fields, was "casting spells on them" and was "being confrontational."

The man told troopers he knocked on the home’s door, but no one answered. He said he went searching for the property owner and discovered drag marks in the grass, which led to a dismembered body behind the home.

The arms, legs and head were all removed from the victim’s body.

Troopers found what was cited as “multiple body parts and organs” inside a folded mattress next to the body, then found what appeared to be cooked human body parts in a still-warm pot in the oven of the kitchen.

KSP's Special Response Team entered the home, Fields refused commands to leave. The SRT used CS gas and a robot to get Fields to come out of the home. The citation states that when she did leave, she appeared to have blood on her face, hands and clothing.

Fields is being held at the Bourbon County Detention Center and faces several charges, including obstructing governmental operations, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.
