Amy McGrath is running for U.S. Senate in Kentucky again.
McGrath ran against Senator Mitch McConnell in 2020 and lost. She also narrowly lost a 2018 race for the sixth district House seat to incumbent Andy Barr.
On Monday, she made the announcement she’s running again.
Senator McConnell is not running for reelection in 2026.
So far on the Republican side, former Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, Rep. Andy Barr, businessman Nate Morris and Elizabethtown businessman Michael Farris have announced their campaigns for his seat.
On the Democrat side, McGrath enters a field with Rep. Pamela Stevenson, Lexington attorney Logan Forsythe and army veteran and ex-CIA officer Joel Willett.
