Illinois governor Pritzker interviewed by Harris aides this week

llinois Gov. JB Pritzker was reported to have had a pair of recent vetting interviews with aides to Vice President Kamala Harris, an unnamed source told news outlets.

The virtual interviews were conducted as recently as Wednesday. 

Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee for President, is expected launch a tour of battleground states next week with her-yet-to-be-named running mate.

Pritzker has also reportedly submitted thousands of pages of documents, along with the other prospects who are under consideration, including Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, Associated Press reported earlier this week.
