State awards Rural Housing Trust Fund checks in Fulton, Graves counties

Governor Beshear announced on Monday the first round of Rural Housing Trust Fund Awards, which will build 115 new homes in disaster- impacted counties and repair 45 homes for disaster survivors in eastern and western Kentucky. 

A first payment of  $13.5 million is being distributed among nine organizations statewide.

In western Kentucky, Community Ventures Inc. is receiving $2.5 million in Fulton and Graves counties, while The Housing Partnership Inc. in Graves County will receive $1.9 million.
